What Else Should We Know About The Inline Mixer?

We have talked many things about inline mixer over the past few weeks. It is widely believed that the inline mixer is high performance machine for continuous production and circular processing of fine materials. The inline mixer is featuring in its 1 to 3 groups of dual-geared stators and rotors of multilayer. When the machine begins to work, the rotors will circumrotate at a high speed by the motor driving. The materials will be sucked into the chamber and finished the emulsification. What else should we know about the inline mixer?

Typically, the homogenizer mixer is equipped at the bottom of reaction kettle or the pipeline. When the materials are sucked into the chamber of inline mixer, it will be dispersed, sheared and emulsified by the 1-3 groups of rotational rotors and stationary stators. The narrow space between rotors and stators where the materials will be sheared, centrifugally extruded, impacted and broken, even the liquid layer attrition and turbulence. After finishing the emulsifying processes, the materials will be thrown to the bucket through the pipeline. Then the phase at the bottom of the bucket will be transferred to the mixer and it will be emulsified well again. Therefore, the inline mixer can be used for continuous production and circular processing of fine materials. What we need to mention here is about the pipe. The pipeline which is connected discharge hole of bucket with the feed hole of emulsifier should be soft. It is suggested to use the metal one with ripples which is soft and easy to counterpoint. For the materials with poor liquidity, it is suggested to use a proper pump to transport the liquid.

The installation of high shear inline mixer is one of the most important processes to the work efficiency. We should consider the space which is for operation and maintenance. There’s no doubt that we have to make sure the base of mixer is stable when we install the machine. Therefore, it would be better for us to stabilize the mixer with screws. Meanwhile, when installing the mixer’s valve on the discharge hole and feed hole, we had better to place great emphasis on them. Both the valves on the discharge hole and feed hole should share the same size so that the users have a better control of the amount of materials and equipment maintenance. The stator and rotor area should be avoided during the installation. Otherwise, it may cause safety accidents.
