Its occurrence has undoubtedly increased tablet productivity as a result of revolution of turret that several sets of punch dies are installed on. Every full revolution of the turret, you will get more than one piece of tablet.
Based on the working principle of single punch tablet press, its tableting principle has improved. Installed with transparent glass doors and windows, the compression area is easily to be observed. Buffer device is installed to prevent punches and apparatus from overload damage and dissipation. And a powder suction is attached to take in residual powder during operation in order that the blockage by the residual powder can be eliminated and the collected powder material can be recycled. The turret speed, depth of feeling and thickness of tablet could be adjusted. The speed adjustment is controlled by frequency control device in a convenient operation, smooth rotation and accurate calculation. All the controllers and operating parts are reasonable.
Tableting process includes four steps, pouring material into feeder, filling the middle die, tableting, and collecting tablets. It appears very simple, however, considering safe operation, there are still some caution we should pay attention to.
1. Before starting the machine, inspect the machine and components, make sure every part of the machine is in good condition. Make sure that the trouble lamp is not bright, that the speed control button is not set, that punch and die set is assembled in alignment with core bar.
Apply correct moderate lubricant to make sure the machine could operate flexibly and safely.
It is necessary to have one operator observe the machine working. When occurs malfunction and abnormal sound, stop the machine and figure out what is the problem. After troubleshooting and making sure everything is fine, then start the machine again.
At the end of production, pay attention to the available material in the feeder. Stop the machine timely before the material running out, or the machine and punch tooling could be damaged if it is running when there is no powder material.
Before disassembling the punch tooling, for the sake of safety, make sure the machine is off electricity.
In emergency circumstance, press the scram button on the left to stop the machine immediately. Trouble lamp could indicates whether the machine has stopped. Check carefully and troubleshoot problems, then start the machine again. The new machine is not suitable to work at high speed at the very first beginning, generally speaking, no more than 24r/min. After 3 to 4 months of operation, the speed could be reasonably increased, but not more than 32r/min.
